Tesla Model X: Air Outlet - Center Console (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Open the rear cup holder.
Release the clips that secure the rear air outlet trim panel,
then disconnect the USB ports from the trim panel.
Tip: Gently pull outboard on the center
console side trim panels when removing the rear air
outlet trim panel.
Remove the air outlet from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Release the front clips that secure the center console side trim
panel.
Release the clips (x6) that secure the closeout extension.
Removal
Remove the center console assembly from the vehicle (refer to
procedure).
Carefully release the clips that secure the side trim panel to
the center console.
Installation
Remove the LH and RH side trim panels from the center console
(refer to procedure).
Carefully release the clips that secure the front trim panel to
the center console.

Note: If the seat is unable to move fully forward and
backward, it is not possible to remove all fasteners that secure the
seat.
Remove
Remove the 2nd row middle floor panel (refer to procedure).
Move the 2nd row seats to their forwardmost position.
Pull outward on the

Remove the upper grille bright trim (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the center fascia bracket to
the front fascia (torque 4 Nm).
