Removal

Remove the front LH wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
Position a container to collect any spillage.
Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
Release the washer tube from the pump and drain any fluid from the reservoir into the container. Note: Place suitable absorbent material around the affected area to absorb any possible fluid spillage.
Remove the pump from the washer reservoir.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Note: Inspect the O-ring for damage and replace if necessary.

Removal Remove the driver's knee air bag (refer to procedure). Remove the steering control column module (refer to procedure). Remove the fasteners that secure the steering column to the mounting bracket (upper nuts 30 Nm, lower bolts 17 Nm).

Sensor - Parking Distance - Front - Each (Remove and Replace)

Removal Remove the front fascia assembly (refer to procedure). Disconnect the parking distance sensor connector. Carefully release the parking distance sensor from the fascia retaining ring.
