Tesla Model X: Air Suspension Lines - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Position the vehicle on a lift, but do not raise the vehicle at this time.
2. Use the Toolbox "Air Suspension Fill/Deflate" panel to depressurize the system.
3. Remove the HV Battery (refer to procedure).
4. Remove the RH rear wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
5. Loosen the rear of the LH rear wheel arch liner. Fold the wheel arch liner forward to access the rear of the wheelwell.
6. Remove the RH front wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the air suspension compressor.

    

8. Release the brown and green air lines from the compressor (torque 2 Nm).

    

9. Release the nuts that secure the HV cable guide to the body (torque 4 Nm).

    

10. Release the clips that secure the RH rear air suspension line to the underbody.

     

11. Release the clips that secure the RH rear air suspension line to the rear wheelwell.

     

12. Release the nut that secures the RH rear air suspension line to the strut (torque 2 Nm).

     

13. Release the clips that secure the LH rear air suspension line to the body behind the rear subframe.
14. Release the clips that secure the LH rear air suspension line to the rear wheelwell.

     

15. Release the nut that secures the LH rear air suspension line to the strut (torque 2 Nm).

     

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
