Tesla Model X 2015-2024 Service Manual / Body / Closing Plate - Spine (Remove and Replace)

Removal

Remove the headliner (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the satellite radio harness.
Disconnect the GPS radio harness.
Disconnect the TPMS harness. Slide the module forward to remove it from the vehicle.
Release the clips that secure the harness to the closing plate.
Release the bolts that secure the closing plate to the body (torque 10 Nm).

Closing Plate - Spine (Remove and Replace)

Remove the closing plate from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
