Tesla Model X: Fascia Bracket - Center (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove the upper grille bright trim (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the center fascia bracket to
the front fascia (torque 4 Nm).
Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid
clarity.
Use a trim tool to release the tabs that secure the center
fascia bracket to the front fascia.
Release the center fascia bracket from the front fascia.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Release the fastener that secures the spear to the fascia
(torque 1 Nm).

Release the fastener that secures the spear to the fascia

Remove the HV Battery (refer to procedure).
Remove the front LH wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
Drill out the rivets (x3) that secure the sill retainer to the
frame

Removal
Position the vehicle on a lift but do not lift it at this
time.
If equipped, remove the lug nut covers.
Initially loosen the lug nuts (

Remove the RH halfshaft (refer to procedure).
Drain the fluid from the front gearbox (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the jackshaft to the drive
unit (torque 30 Nm).
