Tesla Model X: Grille - Speaker - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Release the clips (x4) that secure the speaker grille to the
door trim panel.
Tip: Open the rear door to a comfortable
working height for better access.
Remove the speaker grille from the vehicle.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the
following:
Caution: Replace any broken clips.

Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x4) that secure the middle upper bracket
(torque 3 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the rear upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the front upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).

Remove the spine closing plate (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the harnesses from the module.
Tip: Mark the location of the
connectors so that they are reinstalled correctly.

Remove the middle liftgate trim
(refer to procedure).
Remove the liftgate applique
(refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x4) that secure the liftgate
applique bracket (torque 4 Nm).
