Tesla Model X: Grille - Speaker - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Release the clips (x4) that secure the speaker grille to the
door trim panel.
Tip: Open the rear door to a comfortable
working height for better access.
Remove the speaker grille from the vehicle.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the
following:
Caution: Replace any broken clips.

Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x4) that secure the middle upper bracket
(torque 3 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the rear upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the front upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).

Remove the RH parcel shelf support (refer to procedure).
Release the bolts (x2) that secure the rear HVAC duct bracket to
the body (torque 9 Nm).
Remove the rear HVAC duct.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the subwoofe
Removal
Remove the rear door trim panel (refer to procedure).
Disconnect 12V power (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the bottom of the
rear door controller.
