Tesla Model X: Horn - High Tone (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model X 2015-2026 Service Manual / Electrical / Horn - High Tone (Remove and Replace)

Note: The high tone horn is on the LH side of the vehicle. Removal

  1. Remove the front fascia assembly (refer to procedure).
  2. Move the connector covers aside and disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the outboard side of the horn.

    Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.

  3. Remove the bolt that secures the horn bracket to the front end module (torque 9 Nm).

  4. Remove the horn and bracket from the vehicle.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
