Tesla Model X: Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Install)

Removal

1. Remove the sun visor bezel (refer to procedure).
2. Remove the screw that secures the A-pillar trim to the B-pillar trim (torque X Nm).

    

3. Remove the screws (x3) that secure the trim panel (torque 5 Nm).

    

4. Partially remove the primary seal.

    

5. Release the tether from the stud on the body of the vehicle.
6. Pull the rear of the trim panel towards the front of the vehicle to release it from the headliner. Note: Release the tether from the stud on the body of the vehicle while releasing the trim panel.
7. Disconnect the electrical harnesses from the microphone and tweeter.
8. Pull the front of the trim panel upward to release it from the defrost mesh grille.
9. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
