Removal

Fully open the passenger door.
Move the passenger seat rearward for access.
Remove the RH center console closeout extension (refer to procedure).
Remove the retaining clips (x2) that secure the footwell cover to the dash.
Carefully release the footwell cover from the dash and disconnect it from the rear lugs (x2). Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
Disconnect the footwell lamp harness connection.
Remove the footwell cover.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Removal Remove the front fascia assembly (refer to procedure). Disconnect the parking distance sensor connector. Carefully release the parking distance sensor from the fascia retaining ring.

Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install)

Removal Prepare a soft, clean area on which to set the fascia after it is removed. Remove the front underhood apron (refer to procedure). Remove the LH front fender garnish (refer to procedure). Remove the screw that secures the fascia to the LH fender (torque 1.5 Nm).
