Tesla Model X: Drive Cycle Calibration - Forward Facing Camera
Note: If available, calibrate
the forward facing camera using the Camera Calibration Target
(refer to procedure).
Note: This procedure describes
how to perform a drive cycle calibration on the forward facing camera.
It does not apply to the rear facing camera.

Connect a laptop with Toolbox 2.0 or later to the
vehicle.

In Toolbox, select Panels > Driver
Assist > Camera Calibration.

Click the Start/Play
button.

Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate the
forward facing camera.
Warning: Perform
the calibration procedure in a suitable location and comply
with all local traffic safety laws.
Note: Have an
assistant monitor Toolbox during the drive cycle.

Model X is equipped with a reading light on each side of
the rear seats, located above the door and next to the
coat hangers (see Coat Hangers). To turn a
reading light on or off, press its lens. If you leave a
reading light turned on, it automatically turns off when
Model X powers off.

CAUTION: Do not wash in direct sunlight.
CAUTION: Do not use windshield treatment fluids.
Doing so can interfere with wiper friction and
cause a chattering sound.
CAUTION: Do not use hot water, detergents, or
highly alkaline or caustic cleaning products,
especially those containing hydroxide.
