Tesla Model X 2015-2024 Service Manual / Electrical / Sensor - Parking Distance - Front - Each (Remove and Replace)

Removal

Remove the front fascia assembly (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the parking distance sensor connector.
Carefully release the parking distance sensor from the fascia retaining ring.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Remove Remove the lower C-Pillar trim panel (refer to procedure). Remove the rear trunk side trim panel (refer to procedure). Release the 2 screws that secure the trim panel (torque 3 Nm). Release the 4 trim clip

Latch - Hood (Remove and Replace)

Removal Remove the front underhood apron (refer to procedure). Release both hood latch cables (x2) from the latch assembly. Disconnect the harness connector from the LH side of the latch assembly.
