Tesla Model X: Glove Box (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Open the glove box.
2. Remove the RH instrument panel lower assembly (refer to procedure).
3. Release the trim clips (x6) that secure the lower glove box panel to the instrument panel. Remove the lower glove box panel.

   Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

    

4. Remove the screws (x6) that secure the glove box to the instrument panel (torque 2.3 Nm).

    

5. Carefully pull the glove box away from the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x3) from the back of the glove box.

   Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

    

6. Remove the glove box from the vehicle.

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Caution: Replace any broken clips.
