Removal

Remove the active spoiler motor (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the hinge to the liftgate (torque 8 Nm).
Remove the liftgate hinge from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Remove Remove the front LH wheel (refer to procedure). Release the rearmost push clips (x7) that secure the wheel arch liner. Remove the rear nut that secures the wheel arch liner to the stud on the chassis (torque 6 Nm).
