Tesla Model X: Pad - Lifting - Each (Remove and Replace)
Removal
If the vehicle is equipped with air suspension,
set the suspension to "High" or "Very High".
Tip: If necessary,
this procedure can be performed with the vehicle on
a 4-post lift
(refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the lifting
pad to the body (torque 10 Nm).
Remove the lifting pad from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse
of removal.

Release the push clips (x7) and nut that secure
the front of the front wheel arch liner

Set the air suspension to the "High" setting.
Open the rear door.
Remove the push clip that secures the bottom of
the rear fender

Removal
Use a trim tool to release the clips that secure the lower rear
view mirror cover. Remove the cover.
Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
Disconnect the rear view mirror electrical connector.
General
Avoid getting grease on electrical components and connectors. Grease collects
dirt, which can cause electrical tracking (short-circuits) or high resistance.
Handle printed circuit boards at an electrostatic discharge (ESD) work
station only. Hold printed circuit boards by the edges only.
