Tesla Model X: Pad - Lifting - Each (Remove and Replace)
Removal
If the vehicle is equipped with air suspension,
set the suspension to "High" or "Very High".
Tip: If necessary,
this procedure can be performed with the vehicle on
a 4-post lift
(refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the lifting
pad to the body (torque 10 Nm).
Remove the lifting pad from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse
of removal.

Set the air suspension to the "Very High" setting.
Release the push clips (x7) and nut that secure
the front of the front wheel arch liner

Air suspension vehicles:
Set the air suspension to the "High" setting.
Open the rear door.
Remove the push clip that secures the bottom of
the rear fender

Caution: Only perform this procedure if the seat is unable to
move backward and forward in order to allow access to all fasteners
that secure the seat.. If the seat is able to fully move, refer to
Seat Assembly - 2nd Row
Installation
Remove the LH 2nd row seat back cover (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the 2 harnesses from the module.
Remove the fasteners (x3) that secure the module to the seat
(torque 1 Nm)
