Tesla Model X: Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Use a trim tool to release the clips (x12) that secure the
speaker grille to the top of the middle liftgate trim.
Tip: If necessary, open the liftgate and set
it to a comfortable working height. Note: Components have been removed in
this graphic to aid clarity.
Remove the liftgate speaker grille from the vehicle.
Caution: Replace any broken clips.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Fully lower the window.
Open the front door.
Use a trim tool to remove the decorative trim from the door
panel.
Remove the rub
Removal
Remove the driver's window lift switch (refer to procedure).
Release the clips that secure the speaker cover to the door
trim.
Caution: Take care not to damage

Remove the lower rear door garnish (refer to procedure).
Set the rear door to a comfortable working height.
Move the driver's seat fully forward.

Installation
Warning: Ensure that 12V is still disconnected.
Position the seat in the vehicle.
Reconnect the seat harnesses.
Reconnect 12V power.
With Toolbox running, re-enter Seat Instal

Remove the cooling fan module (refer to procedure).
Remove the battery cage (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the 3-way and 4-way valves to
the plastic support beam (torque 5 Nm).
