Tesla Model X: Module - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model X 2015-2026 Service Manual / Seats / Module - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

Installation

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back cover (refer to procedure).
  2. Disconnect the 2 harnesses from the module.

    Module - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

  3. Remove the fasteners (x3) that secure the module to the seat (torque 1 Nm).
  4. Remove the module from the vehicle.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following: Use Toolbox to update or redeploy the firmware:

  • If the vehicle is not running the latest firmware, run the "Vehicle Firmware Update" procedure.
  • If the vehicle is running the latest firmware, run the "Firmware Redeploy" procedure.
