Removal

Open the front door.
Carefully release the seal, starting from the rocker panel and working towards the upper section of the seal.
Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.
Remove the seal from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Note: Clean the affected areas before installation. Ensure that the lip of the seal is seated properly.

Tip: Use a silicone based lubricant to aid installation, if necessary.

Special tools required for this procedure: Supplier Part Number Description Tesla 1021241-00-B Subframe Fixture, Rear, MDLS Tesla 1021242-00-C Subframe F

Module - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

Installation Remove the LH 2nd row seat back cover (refer to procedure). Disconnect the 2 harnesses from the module. Remove the fasteners (x3) that secure the module to the seat (torque 1 Nm)
