Tesla Model X: Fixed Glass - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the inner belt seal (refer to procedure).
  2. Peel back the mucket seal, then remove the screws (x4) that secure the fixed glass (torque 4.5 Nm).

    Note: There might be washers between the fixed glass and the door panel. Reinstall the washers when installing the fixed glass.

  3. Remove the fixed glass from the top of the door.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the sun visor bezel (refer to procedure). Remove the screws (x2) that secure the magnet to the sun visor bezel (torque 2 Nm). Remove the magnet from the sun visor bezel.
